In the Next Issue
In the first issue of 2024 the project team of direct[message] and Seniors Art Link share practical steps (and some lessons learned) from a summertime virtual event series meant to appeal to older adults, have a low barrier to participation, and combine accessible art history, accessible instruction, and free materials.
Older adults who led the early stages of the direct[message] project will be the issue’s featured artists.
Submissions for issue three will be accepted until March 10, 2024. The theme of the third issue is on the importance of pace and patience when working in community-led projects. Please inquire with a proposed subject and audience prior to preparing a submission.
